About the Role
Lead and mentor a team of engineers while driving technical execution and architectural direction for critical product components.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers through agile development cycles
- Define technical roadmaps in alignment with product goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product and QA
- Ensure delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure software systems
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in production systems
- Support incident management and system reliability initiatives
- Drive adoption of modern development tools and frameworks
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent
- Manage performance evaluations and career growth discussions
- Coordinate with global teams across multiple time zones
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Oversee sprint planning and backlog prioritization
- Promote test automation and continuous integration workflows
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards
- Champion DevOps principles across development teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration
- Maintain system documentation and architecture diagrams
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with senior leadership
