Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and system health
- Respond to incidents and resolve operational issues promptly
- Implement and manage automated monitoring and alerting systems
- Support deployment and configuration of AWS resources
- Maintain documentation for cloud environments and procedures
- Collaborate with client teams to understand operational needs
- Perform root cause analysis for system outages or failures
- Apply security best practices to cloud configurations
- Assist in cost optimization of cloud usage
- Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure compliance with internal and client-specific policies
- Update and patch systems to maintain stability and security
- Work with infrastructure-as-code tools for consistent deployments
- Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues in cloud environments
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and performance
- Participate in change management processes
- Support migration activities from on-premises to cloud
- Enforce tagging and resource governance standards
- Assist in integration of third-party monitoring tools
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and improvement plans
- Stay current with AWS service updates and features
- Support identity and access management configurations
- Assist in implementing logging and auditing solutions
