The Malware Research Engineer will analyze new malware threats, create detection logic across multiple technologies, investigate customer issues, conduct proactive threat hunting, and contribute to technical content such as blogs and presentations. This role works closely with development teams and supports product improvement through feedback and research insights.
Responsibilities
- Analyze daily threat intelligence feeds related to newly discovered malware and develop detection rules for multiple platforms and technologies.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries concerning protection effectiveness, system performance, and product usability.
- Perform proactive research and threat hunting to identify and understand current cyber threats impacting users.
- Provide input on new tools, syntaxes, and development projects by offering practical suggestions for handling various malware types.
- Assist in creating technical content such as threat analyses, blog posts, and presentation materials.
Requirements

- Familiarity with core operating systems including Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android.
