Silgan Closures seeks a proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation of our production equipment. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing work safely, troubleshooting issues, and executing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
What You'll Do
- Perform work safely and in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks without supervision.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with the Maintenance lead.
What We're Looking For
- Understand and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Proficiency with all measuring tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and hard copy PLC programs.
- Possess some basic skills with welding, milling machine, and lathe.
- Demonstrated skills to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions from your supervisor.
- Possess basic computer skills.
