Novo Nordisk is looking for a Maintenance Technician to enhance the reliability of systems and equipment, reduce downtime, and support the operations for assigned processes within the Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) department. FFEx is responsible for designing, planning, and building new aseptic filling capacity across the company.
What You'll Do
- Participate in plant Shutdown planning and execution
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned processes in a timely manner
- Manage your individual training plan
- Assure all Maintenance activities are documented in SAP and communicated in shift turnover reports
- Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes as assigned
- Partner with process owners to actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment
- Perform routine cleaning and maintain good housekeeping for assigned areas
- Support the development and establishment of maintenance procedures, plans, and spare parts lists for assigned processes
- Contribute to your future growth and development by learning new systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other duties, as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited university required
- Minimum one (1) year of experience and knowledge in mechanical, electrical and/or control systems required
- May consider a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three (3) years of experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or control systems
- Knowledgeable of Compressed air, Plant steam, Vacuum, Chilled Water, and RO/Pretreatment water systems Required
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated records systems such as SAP/CMMS preferred
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Experience in planning/organizing work, checking results, and revising the work plan a plus
- Demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting. Support and actively participate in event response activities. Documents problems and works to bring them rapidly to solution
- Ability to work with electronic batch records, automated process equipment, and/or BMS and FMS systems
- Proficient in the operation and design of production utility systems such as: purified water, process air, chemical storage, process waste systems, chilled water, clean and dirty steam, high pressure air, vacuum, air handling equipment
