Responsibilities
- Participate in scheduled training programs and complete assigned learning tasks.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in group environments.
- Develop skills in modifying existing mainframe code, writing new code, and troubleshooting system defects.
- Gain proficiency with mainframe-specific technologies including JCL, Control-M, and Control-D.
- Support business units by understanding their workflows, industry terms, and primary stakeholders.
- Regularly update task records in Azure DevOps to support project tracking and team coordination.
Other
- No prior software development experience is necessary for this role.
- Occasional availability outside standard business hours may be required after the initial four-month training phase.
- Remote work is expected, though limited exceptions may be considered.
