ASR Group is looking for a Machine Operator to play a key role in our production operations. In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating, maintaining, and improving packing line equipment to meet our Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) plan cost-effectively and to agreed customer requirements.
What You'll Do
- Operate packing line(s) and other offline equipment to safety, environmental, quality, hygiene, and output standards.
- Complete required quality checks, compare results against specified parameters, and follow Company Quality procedures for action where required.
- Adjust plant when appropriate to ensure agreed specifications are maintained.
- Use FLT’s to supply lines with packaging equipment.
- Use knowledge and experience to anticipate problems and to solve them using relevant continuous improvement tools.
- Record quality and performance data, monitor line performance trends and material usage, taking corrective action where appropriate.
- Clearly communicate handover information and issues within the packing team of Operators and Maintenance Technicians.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects where appropriate.
