Workday is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build AI-driven solutions that enhance financial planning for enterprises at global scale. In this role, you’ll design and develop intelligent workflows, apply modern AI and data engineering practices, and help deliver next-generation FP&A capabilities within Workday Adaptive Planning.
What You'll Do

- Design and develop intelligent workflows and apply modern AI and data engineering practices.
- Work with rich HR and Finance datasets to create automation, predictive insights, and agent-based experiences.
- Deliver next-generation FP&A capabilities within Workday Adaptive Planning.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with production-level Software Development including conception, specifying, crafting, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing.
- 2+ years of experience using programming languages (such as Python, Java, or similar) to deliver production quality software solutions in an industry setting.
- 2+ years of experience building production quality software with public cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
- 2+ years experience designing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources enabling the training and deployment of machine learning models.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Experience maintaining and supporting production software.
- Experience with Machine Learning technologies, frameworks and methods.

Benefits & Compensation
- Primary Location: $118,800 USD - $178,200 USD
- Additional US Locations: $112,900 USD - $210,000 USD
- Equity: Annual refresh stock grants
