In support of a federal cloud program management office, we require an experienced Security Specialist to maintain and enhance the security infrastructure of a complex cloud environment. The role demands expertise in security onboarding, audit logging solutions, data protection, security models, compliance, and enterprise governance. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of cloud security capabilities, extensive experience supporting high-security government environments, and robust understanding of federal compliance and risk management frameworks. Responsibilities include: - Configuring and securing cloud service interfaces with emphasis on security controls - Establishing enterprise-wide data policies - Conducting comprehensive security and privacy analyses - Implementing and monitoring security controls and governance policies - Supporting risk assessments and vulnerability management - Developing and updating security documentation - Collaborating with technical teams and subject matter experts - Monitoring security alerts and supporting incident response activities - Adapting to stringent compliance requirements Qualifications: - U.S. work authorization - Minimum 5 years IT security experience - Extensive experience in government or high-security environments - Proven expertise managing Microsoft 365 permissions, retention, and governance - Advanced knowledge of cloud security features - Proficiency in troubleshooting technical challenges - Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards - Strong analytical and communication skills - Ability to coordinate cross-team security activities Preferred Additional Qualifications: - Experience with federal program modernization - Incident response expertise - Cloud governance knowledge Relevant Certifications: - CISSP, CISM, Security+ - Microsoft Security Certifications - Cloud and Platform Administrator Credentials - ITIL® 4 Foundation - Specialized Platform Administrations We provide comprehensive benefits including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement packages.
