CrowdStrike, Inc. is looking for a LogScale Professional Services Principal Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll spearhead infrastructure architecture efforts, operationalizing the LogScale platform within customer environments. You'll act as a trusted advisor, guiding technical implementations, expanding use cases, and providing valuable feedback to our product teams.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for Falcon LogScale deployments from project kickoff through technical implementation and closure.
- Guide customers in building complex, resilient, and high-performing application clusters in public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Assist customers with data onboarding tasks, including configuring third-party tool audit and logging policies, and establishing log transport methodologies.
- Provide guidance on log analysis using search queries on raw data, parsing, and dashboard creation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to educate customers on Falcon LogScale.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in systems engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Four+ years implementing and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm within GCP, Azure, and/or AWS.
- Experience delivering, managing, and upgrading managed applications in GCP, Azure, and/or AWS environments with high throughput and availability requirements, including usage of CI/CD tools.
- Experience and comfort with managing and implementing Linux server platforms.
- Experience developing and implementing IaC using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- High comfort level creating, implementing, and troubleshooting Python, Go, and Bash scripts for integration and automation.
- Experience with RESTful API, GraphQL, and API microservices.
- Experience with implementing and using Kafka.
- Intermediate knowledge of security protocols and products for identity management and access, such as OAuth, OKTA, SAML, Windows Auth, and Active Directory.
- Four+ years using logs and metrics to identify the root cause of production incidents.
- Experience managing technical deployments, tracking time, and running projects from kickoff to closure.
- Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and other development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of IT environments, including directory services, authentication, networking, and data storage.
- Understanding of log management use cases around security, observability, DevOps, IT ops, and business operations.
- Strong problem-solving, written and oral communication skills in English.
- Fluency in English and strong technical writing skills.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of professional DevOps experience providing support for troubleshooting, recovery, and root cause analysis.
- Experience developing visualizations for security event-related data using Grafana, PowerBI, Elastic, etc.
- Experience working with pre-sales teams on technical scoping and requirements gathering, and with post-sales handoffs.
- Experience translating customer requirements and experiences into feedback for product and engineering teams.
