Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment scheduling across multiple carriers and distribution points
- Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays proactively
- Maintain up-to-date logistics documentation and tracking systems
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to align inventory flow
- Optimize routing strategies to reduce transit costs and improve efficiency
- Track and report on key performance metrics for logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate service performance
- Support customs documentation for international shipments when required
- Troubleshoot logistical issues arising during transit or delivery
- Implement process improvements based on operational data analysis
- Facilitate communication between drivers, clients, and internal departments
- Oversee packaging and labeling accuracy for outbound shipments
- Assist in inventory reconciliation during peak operational periods
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status and delivery windows
- Maintain real-time updates in logistics management software
- Coordinate return logistics and reverse supply chain activities
- Prepare reports for management on delivery performance and cost trends
- Support implementation of new logistics technologies or tools
- Ensure data integrity across order management and transportation platforms
Nice to Have
