Hunt St is hiring a Logistics & Accounts Assistant to support our sales, operations, and warehouse teams by coordinating freight and administrative activities. This role ensures smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient handling of logistics-related tasks to keep our operations running effectively.
What You'll Do
- Quote freight for domestic and export shipments and extend the freight network to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Generate and manage all freight documentation for exports and imports, including tracking containers.
- Use planner, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Xero to coordinate shipments and respond quickly to customer requirements.
- Manage export and domestic freight rate excels and process invoices.
- Close opportunities on Salesforce when invoices are processed.
- Manage and maintain computer-based accounting systems.
- Maintain and organise internal systems and filing, including SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Create and execute procedures for freight and create pallet labels.
- Produce reports and statements and complete import and export documentation.
- Assist with sample preparation and dispatch and perform general administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For

- A Type A personality with the ability to manage tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, including export documentation and making/managing freight bookings.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Xero, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
