BMW Group is looking for a Location Based Services Intern to join the MyJourney team. You will support the development of tools for software testing and data visualization, analyze datasets for insights, and translate complex technical content into compelling narratives for stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and improvement of lightweight tools for software testing, data analysis, and visualization to aid decision-making and product quality.
- Analyze existing datasets from various sources to derive meaningful insights.
- Conduct proactive product and market research, preparing findings and creating concise product information for existing and future digital products.
- Act as an interface between technology and business, translating technical content into compelling storylines, slides, and demos for stakeholders.
- Cooperate closely with cross-functional teams in Munich, Portugal, and China within a modern, flexible environment.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- A strong technical profile with programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Kibana, or Grafana.
- Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and related presentation tools, with the ability to convey complex content visually and concisely.
- A structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style with strong communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for digital products at the interface of business and technology.
- Very good English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI tools and methods.
- German language skills.
