Milengo GmbH is hiring a Localization Engineer (m/f/d) to build the crucial bridge between translation and technology. You will ensure the smooth operation of our tools and processes while actively shaping technological strategy and decisions, working closely with both internal teams and external clients.

What You'll Do

Prepare documents and files for translation and final delivery.
Test and configure CAT tools.
Develop scripts and tools to automate engineering tasks.
Design workflows for new and existing clients.
Collaborate with IT, Machine Translation, and Software Development teams on overlapping tasks.
Act as the internal administrator and support for CAT tools.
Serve as the escalation point for project-related technical difficulties.
Document workflows on the intranet and keep the Engineering section updated.
Cooperate on maintaining clean language assets according to customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

Working experience in the Localization industry as a Localization Engineer or similar.
Experience with an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java) and regular expressions.
Working experience with, or a strong interest in, AI technologies and APIs to enhance automation and efficiency.
Team player and strong communicator eager to share knowledge.
Pragmatic, goal-oriented approach with a love for tackling complex problems.
Proficient in English.

Nice to Have

Additional knowledge in Machine Translation technologies and TMS (Translation Management Systems).
Some German language knowledge.
