Star Pubs, part of HEINEKEN UK, is looking for a Line Lead to start as a versatile operator. You'll begin by learning different production lines, supporting fellow Line Leads, and building a broad operational foundation. This role is designed for growth, where you'll evolve step-by-step from supporting line operations to becoming the fully accountable lead of your own line.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach employees within your area of responsibility.
- Carry cost responsibility for the FTE budget and its achievement.
- Manage projects to ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery.
- Share responsibility for the optimal operation of the packaging line and optimal staffing.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities and actively connect with AM processes.
- Develop and implement a clear plan to achieve set objectives.
- Make cost-efficient choices to achieve maximum output, manage standards, and lead improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking, preferably with a completed study in engineering or technology.
- At least 5 years' experience in a production environment and experience in a leadership role.
- Strong connector, decisive, and demonstrates ownership.
- Proficient command of the Dutch language in both speech and writing.
- Assertive, resilient, and not easily unsettled.
- Visionary and capable of bringing others along on that journey.
- Environmentally aware and able to steer the right team development.
Nice to Have
- Experience with continuous improvement processes (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Team & Environment
This is a shared responsibility with another Line Lead for the relevant line(s). Over time, you will gain overall responsibility for the line.
