OptiMindHealth is hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

About the Role

The role involves delivering mental health counseling services to clients, with a focus on evidence-based practices and client-centered care. The counselor will work with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support their mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and workshops.
  • Advocate for clients and promote mental health awareness.
  • Conduct outreach and community education programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide consultation and support to other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement prevention programs.
  • Conduct research and evaluate treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of client information.
  • Collaborate with community resources and referral agencies.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs.
