About the Role
Deliver remote mental health counseling to individuals and families using clinical best practices. Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote clinical assessments to evaluate client mental health status
- Diagnose and treat emotional and psychological disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide teletherapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Maintain timely and confidential electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Engage in ongoing clinical documentation and case reviews
- Participate in supervision and professional development activities
- Follow ethical guidelines set by licensing boards
- Coordinate care with external healthcare providers
- Respond to client crises within established protocols
- Utilize validated assessment tools during evaluations
- Support client engagement and retention in treatment
- Adhere to state-specific scope of practice regulations
- Conduct risk assessments for safety concerns
- Facilitate psychoeducation during therapy sessions
- Uphold cultural competence in client interactions
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients
