Lindblad Expeditions is looking for a Licensed Deckhand to join our team in a rotational, full-time role. Based in Seattle, WA, you will serve as a key crew member onboard one of our ships, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily deck operations and maintenance under the direction of the deck officers
- Stand watch and assist with navigation, ensuring the safety of the vessel, passengers, and crew
- Handle lines during docking, undocking, and anchoring procedures
- Maintain the ship's exterior, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
- Assist with launching and recovering small boats and other watercraft
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
- Support expedition operations and guest services as needed
What We're Looking For
- A valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with a Deckhand rating
- A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- A valid U.S. Passport
- Proven experience working on commercial vessels
- Strong seamanship skills and a thorough understanding of deck operations
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Commitment to a rotational work schedule and life at sea

This is a full-time, rotational, on-site position based on a ship operating out of Seattle, WA.
