The Democratic Party seeks a Fall 2025 Legal Intern to join its legal team and gain hands-on experience in political law. This position offers a practical opportunity to support the DNC's mission and operations through legal research and analysis.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal and factual research on a wide range of political and campaign finance topics
- Analyze federal and state election laws, regulations, and compliance matters
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal memoranda, correspondence, and other documents
- Support the legal team with administrative and project-based tasks
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school program
- Strong academic record with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest in political law, campaign finance, government, or public policy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively
