Lancashire County Council is looking for a Library Assistant to join our vital library service, providing welcoming, inclusive spaces where people of all ages can connect, learn and feel safe. You will support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service to our communities.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers with accessing digital resources and information.
- Support in the planning and delivery of events, such as author events and class visits.
- Engage with customers to promote reading for pleasure.

Team & Environment
You will be appointed to library base(s) but are expected to work at other libraries as required.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position across multiple locations: Barnoldswick Library (15hpw), Brierfield Library (15hpw), Burnley Library (7hpw).
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Successful candidates will be required to apply for a DBS 'disclosure'.
