Allstate is looking for an L&H Actuarial Analyst Intern to join our dynamic Actuarial Department. This role offers a blend of core actuarial work and business-focused training in profitability and risk management, providing hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform actuarial projections, month-end reporting, strategic claim cost updates, and miscellaneous Company and state reporting.
- Support the Product Actuarial department with profitability and risk management work, balancing multiple projects.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Have passed at least one actuarial exam administered through the Society of Actuaries.
- Be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SQL, or be comfortable quickly learning new programming languages or software.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or Finance.
