Gartner, Inc. is hiring a Legal AI & Technology Strategy Expert (Sr Director, Analyst, Fully Remote UK or Ireland)

As a Senior Director Analyst, you will lead the development of forward-thinking research on artificial intelligence in legal operations, guiding general counsel and legal department leaders through strategic AI adoption. Your work will focus on translating complex technological shifts into practical guidance on implementation, governance, vendor selection, and performance measurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce original, high-impact research that addresses the most pressing AI-related challenges and opportunities facing legal leadership.
  • Establish authority on AI applications in legal environments, including pilot design, scaling strategies, compliance frameworks, and integration with existing workflows.
  • Monitor global AI developments and assess their implications for legal functions, ensuring insights remain timely and relevant.
  • Collaborate across disciplines with experts in technology, finance, and compliance to deliver holistic perspectives.
  • Engage directly with clients through briefings and presentations, offering clear, evidence-based recommendations tailored to enterprise needs.
  • Contribute to content innovation by refining research methodologies and mentoring junior analysts.
  • Deliver keynote presentations and lead sessions at industry events and client forums.

Qualifications

You bring deep experience in legal technology leadership, with a proven track record advising senior legal executives on AI strategy. You must be comfortable analyzing vendor ecosystems, interpreting market shifts, and articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Success in this role requires executive presence, exceptional writing ability, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. You are self-directed, intellectually curious, and committed to advancing both client outcomes and team capabilities.

Work Environment
