ImageTrend is hiring a Lead Software Developer to lead a software development team focused on assigned projects and products. You will be responsible for guiding agile processes, managing team performance, mentoring teammates, and serving as a key technical resource.
What You'll Do
- Lead agile meetings including sprint planning and daily scrums.
- Organize the team to achieve development timelines and performance metrics.
- Manage team performance by removing distractions and roadblocks.
- Interview development candidates and assist in onboarding new employees.
- Maintain awareness of team schedules and enforce transparency.
- Mentor teammates, conduct one-on-one meetings, and participate in annual reviews.
- Track planned work, deadlines, and quality.
- Work with management to prioritize backlogs and plan development sprints.
- Provide internal subject matter and technical expertise.
- Assist in creating technical statements of work and release notes.
- Package code releases and maintain the code repository.
- Triage and delegate development-related support issues from the client queue.
- May contribute to development, DevOps, Continuous Integration, and process improvements.
- Travel up to 10% annually for orientation, events, and meetings.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Highly proficient software development experience in JS, SQL, and an OO language (preferably C#).
- Experience in management or proven experience leading, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
- Serves as a functional subject matter expert for their product.
- Excellent organizational skills, an appreciation for critical timelines, and the ability to self-motivate.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, simple terms.
- Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information.
- Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills.
- A strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $85,000 - $130,000 USD.
