Trust Wallet, a leading name in blockchain technology, seeks a Lead QE/SDET to architect and drive the evolution of our test automation strategy. You will lead the transformation of our existing framework into a modern, unified system, integrating it deeply into our CI/CD pipelines and serving as the technical and people lead for the Quality Engineering function.
What You'll Do
- Own the overall test automation strategy and roadmap across mobile, web, and extension applications.
- Lead and mentor the QE/SDET team, setting priorities, reviewing code, and ensuring alignment with product and platform goals.
- Architect and evolve our automation framework, transitioning from Appium and Java to a scalable, modular, and language-agnostic system.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and Argo Workflows, establishing consistent quality gates.
- Drive best practices for reliability, test data management, flake detection, tagging, and reporting.
- Implement observability for automation, including dashboards, trend analysis, test coverage heatmaps, and release confidence metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform, Mobile, Backend, and Web teams to embed testing early in the SDLC.
- Establish standards and governance for test code quality, folder structure, and contribution guidelines.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize performance, stability, and developer feedback loops.
- Represent the QE function in planning, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.

- Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress for modern web and extension automation.
- Hands-on experience integrating automation into GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows pipelines, including matrix builds, caching, and artifact management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers, perform design/code reviews, and raise the quality bar across the organization.
- Deep understanding of test stability, flake reduction, retry strategies, and pipeline optimization.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and KPIs that communicate automation health and release confidence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first, cross-functional environment.
