Ninox Software GmbH is looking for a Lead QA Engineer (m/f/d) to be a key partner in raising the bar for quality and release processes. In this role, you will build and mentor a high-performing QA team and shape the quality strategy across our innovative low-code SaaS platform.
What You'll Do
- Permanently improve our QA and release processes.
- Lead, grow, coach, and mentor the QA team.
- Set and evolve the quality strategy and tooling across the organization.
- Own QA KPIs like defect rates, test coverage, release confidence, and regression frequency.
- Drive continuous improvement of test infrastructure and QA culture.
- Act as a key partner to engineering and product leadership in strategic decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience with testing frameworks, with a preference for Playwright, Cucumber, and TypeScript.
- Several years of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Github Actions.
- Automation experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber.
- Experience in setting up load testing and benchmarking.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on maintainability and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with shell scripting, cloud-native development, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), and scalable distributed systems.
