About the Role
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the product suite, interfacing with key areas including borrower journeys, dealership networks, and internal underwriting and support functions, while offering substantial potential for professional advancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and delivery of payment products by collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to plan, prototype, and launch high-impact features tied to core business and product goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of payment workflows, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and reconciliation processes.
- Develop deep insights into customer needs by analyzing diverse user segments, identifying complex challenges, and transforming findings into scalable product solutions.
- Shape the product roadmap by evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, making informed prioritization decisions, and aligning stakeholders and leadership on strategic direction.
- Articulate product vision, progress, and performance clearly to business teams; act as a leadership figure within the product function.
- Support and mentor junior product team members while advancing best practices across the organization.
- Lead integration efforts with financial partners, including payment processors, gateways, banks, and networks supporting ACH, card transactions, and real-time payments.
- Define and improve key payment performance indicators such as authorization success, transaction success rates, processing costs, fraud losses, dispute frequency, and settlement speed.
