Alabama Solutions is hiring a Lead Engineer to provide dedicated support for a key US-based account within its international business unit. You will be expected to make significant full-stack contributions while taking ownership of technical architecture and mentoring other engineers on the team.

What You'll Do

Make full-stack contributions across the codebase.
Have an outsized impact and ownership of architecture and stack choices.
Mentor and lead other engineers on the team.

What We're Looking For

Six (6) or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
Fluent to native English proficiency (C1+ and above).
Native-level Spanish proficiency.
Four (4) or more years working with Typescript + Node.js on the backend.
Four (4) or more years working with Typescript + React on the frontend.
Solid experience working with agentic coding tools such as Cursor or Claude.
Proven experience working in a 100% remote setting.
Two (2) years or more of experience working with a US, Canada, or UK-based startup.
A team player mentality with well-developed soft skills.

Nice to Have

Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience.
Two (2) years or more of focused experience working with React.
Experience developing well-structured APIs and/or working with NestJS.
Experience working with LLMs.
Some experience in managing teams or a demonstrated willingness to develop those skills.
