Anaconda is hiring a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the production stability, security, and operational excellence of our SaaS platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will be directly responsible for infrastructure, incident response, and automating operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as a primary operator for production cloud environments, responsible for monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents across the full stack.
- Manage database performance, scaling, tenant provisioning, and disaster recovery for a multi-tenant architecture serving thousands of customers.
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD infrastructure to enable reliable, frequent deployments with a focus on safety, rollback capabilities, and security.
- Execute security remediation, manage vulnerability response, conduct access control reviews, and support SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
- Build and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to provide early warning of system problems.
- Automate operational tasks using AI-powered tools to accelerate scripting, incident analysis, log review, and documentation.
- Build agentic automation for repetitive tasks and help shape AI-augmented engineering practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating production cloud environments at scale and being directly responsible for their uptime.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases in the cloud: performance tuning, scaling, multi-tenant recovery, and disaster response.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including managing deployment failures.
- Experience writing real infrastructure as code to provision and manage cloud resources with declarative tooling.
- A security-first operational mindset with experience in vulnerability management, access control, compliance, and incident logging.
- You script and automate daily.
- You actively use AI tools in your work and can provide specific examples of what you've built and fixed with them.
- You are available and willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
- You are US-based with timezone availability to support team collaboration and incident response coverage.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with senior architects and engineering teams across multiple squads, and collaborate with IT and security functions.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the United States.
