Responsibilities
- Use advanced statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing and inference to define problems, validate assumptions, and measure outcomes.
- Design and manage data integration from both structured and unstructured sources, ensuring robust data preprocessing and feature engineering for production systems.
- Develop and oversee model creation using Python and core libraries including scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy, along with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Process large-scale datasets using Apache Spark and cloud-based data tools such as AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory.
- Implement MLOps practices to operationalize machine learning models, including continuous integration and deployment, reproducible training environments, and automated workflows.
- Deliver practical AI and machine learning applications in areas such as predictive modeling, time series analysis, anomaly identification, natural language processing, image analysis, and generative AI systems like retrieval models and conversational agents.
- Monitor and manage model performance in cloud platforms, implementing retraining cycles, performance tracking, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create machine learning system designs that support pre-sales initiatives and enable rapid project onboarding.
- Lead agile project execution using Scrum or SAFe frameworks with tools like JIRA and Trello, maintaining backlog integrity and delivery standards.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of data-informed decision-making across business units.
- Take a strategic approach to data acquisition, performance metric development, and ethical AI implementation, ensuring transparency and responsible use of technology.
