Responsibilities
- Direct the planning and execution of clinical data management for multinational studies
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of case report forms and database specifications
- Ensure compliance with data standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the creation and validation of clinical database structures
- Manage data review and cleaning processes to maintain accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with statistical programming teams to support analysis datasets
- Review and approve data management plans and related documentation
- Lead vendor oversight for external data management partners
- Drive the adoption of standardized processes and technologies across projects
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development initiatives
- Coordinate with clinical operations to align data strategies with study timelines
- Support audit and inspection readiness for data management systems
- Ensure data privacy and security standards are maintained
- Evaluate and implement new data management tools and platforms
- Participate in risk assessment and mitigation planning for data workflows
- Serve as primary contact for complex data-related issues
- Ensure timely database lock and data transfer for analysis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Contribute to the development of internal data management guidelines
- Facilitate communication between data management and other functional teams
