Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a Lead Banquet Cook to supervise our culinary team and ensure exceptional banquet execution. In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for maintaining Hyatt’s high food quality standards and managing daily kitchen operations.
What You'll Do
- Supervise hourly cooks and help train the department.
- Take charge of the kitchen and manage daily operations when the Sous Chef is away.
- Ensure every plate meets Hyatt’s high standards and is served on time.
- Help monitor payroll and costs to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Good communication skills.
- At least two years of previous line and fine dining experience.
- Ability to give direction in the supervisor's absence.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Basic computer skills and an understanding of how to manage costs.
Nice to Have
- A Culinary degree or related hotel experience.
- A solid background in culinary arts and kitchen operations.
