About the Role
Lead and deliver data analytics initiatives, develop analytics applications, guide teams, and drive strategic growth through data visualization, automation, and platform modernization in a remote role with opportunities for office collaboration in Medellin.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and execute data analytics projects from start to finish.
- Design and build analytics products and applications using industry best practices.
- Support organizational growth by providing training and coaching to teams.
- Supervise small consulting teams of 1-3 members during complex project deliveries.
- Take ownership of dashboard development to support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive automation efforts across analytics processes to improve efficiency.
- Lead the creation and deployment of data applications.
- Guide modernization initiatives for data platforms and analytics infrastructure.
- Lead change management activities to support analytics adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels to define project goals.
- Set priorities and ensure project activities align with established timelines.
- Identify potential new business opportunities through data insights.
- Support strategic expansion and growth within client accounts.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including scoping and proposal development.
- Lead internal projects that enhance delivery capabilities and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and promote best practices across the analytics organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, data visualization, or process automation.
- Proficiency in at least one tool: Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in data analytics and visualization.
- At least two years of experience managing technical delivery and project execution for data analytics consulting projects.
- Strong communication and facilitation abilities with technical and executive audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead projects, teams, and initiatives proactively.
- Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Prior experience with cloud data warehousing platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
