Agiliti is hiring a Laser Technician I to join our team of passionate medical equipment management experts in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for the critical work of ensuring our surgical laser equipment is functioning, sterile, and in the right place for every procedure.
What You'll Do
- Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room prior to procedures.
- Be present in the operating room during procedures; your level of involvement is subject to physician demands.
- Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical equipment after procedures.
- Ensure operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
- Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bend and reach repeatedly.
- Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
Nice to Have
- Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience.
