Kodez is hiring a Microsoft Security Consultant for a 6-month contract in Colombo, Sri Lanka. You will deliver Microsoft-based cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects, implementing security solutions, conducting audits, and providing documentation and training. What You'll Do
- Conduct infrastructure and security audits to inform solution architecture.
- Implement Microsoft Intune for MDM across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices.
- Deploy Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR) and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
- Implement Zero Trust security policies, DLP, and RBAC using Azure AD.
- Provision and secure Microsoft 365 Copilot and integrate with existing tools.
- Automate device provisioning, license management, and support workflows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide documentation, training, and handover to internal IT teams.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft-based cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects.
- Deep expertise in: Microsoft Intune (MDM), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR), Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), Azure AD Conditional Access & RBAC, Microsoft 365 Copilot provisioning.
- Experience setting up and operating SOC environments.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and DLP policies.
- Familiarity with automation tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Experience working with hybrid environments and BYOD policies.
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, and Windows Autopilot.
