About the Role
The individual will be responsible for developing precise kitchen layouts using technical drawings and ensuring all project estimates are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed kitchen designs based on client requirements and space constraints
- Produce accurate material and labor cost estimates for proposed projects
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs align with budget and timeline
- Use CAD software to generate floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations
- Review building regulations and compliance standards relevant to kitchen installations
- Liaise with suppliers to source materials and verify product specifications
- Prepare documentation for client presentations and project handover
- Conduct site measurements and assess structural conditions when necessary
- Revise designs based on client feedback or site challenges
- Ensure all design elements meet safety and accessibility guidelines
- Coordinate with contractors to clarify design intent during construction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of kitchen trends, materials, and technologies
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Track project progress and update estimates as designs evolve
- Support the sales team with technical design input during client consultations
