Uptalent.io is looking for a Remote Landscape Designer to work closely with clients to bring their outdoor visions to life. In this role, you will design functional and aesthetically pleasing landscapes, manage projects from concept to completion, and ensure all plans meet regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with clients to develop landscape design plans that meet their needs and vision
- Prepare design drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Ensure all designs are compliant with local zoning and building codes
- Research and select appropriate plants, trees, and materials for each project
- Create project budgets and timelines and manage projects within those parameters
- Supervise and inspect construction work to guarantee adherence to the design plan and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction and follow up with clients after project completion
What We're Looking For
- Ability to collaborate with clients to develop landscape design plans
- Proficiency in preparing design drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Knowledge of local zoning and building codes to ensure design compliance
- Ability to research and select appropriate plants, trees, and materials
- Experience creating project budgets and timelines and managing projects within them
- Experience supervising and inspecting construction work for quality and design adherence
- Strong customer service skills to maintain client satisfaction and conduct follow-ups
