About the Role

Emerging Travel Group is hiring a Key Account Manager for the North and Center of Italy to strengthen our market position and expand our client network. Our mission is to create, distribute, and operate the most convenient travel products, innovating to make travel more widely available and simpler for everyone.

What You'll Do

  • Expand and consolidate our presence in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with signed partners, including tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs, to increase their performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Follow up with existing and new partners to provide system training.
  • Position our brand within the travel trade through ongoing product presentations and networking events.
  • Address incident issues and ensure partner support.
  • Oversee payments control to ensure accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Spend approximately 40% of working time on business trips, including client meetings and industry events.
  • Provide market and competitive environment analysis.
  • Provide regular comprehensive reporting through CRM and internal systems.
  • Maximize and develop API deals with potential and existing partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a key account management or business development role, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships with various travel trade partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market analysis and comprehensive reporting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Experience with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to account management.
  • Understanding of API technology and its commercial application in the travel sector.

Work Mode

This is a local country role based in Italy, with significant travel within the Northern and Central regions.
