Destiny Christian Academy is hiring a K-5th Grade Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting students in their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical development through instruction, counseling, discipline, and support.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate student learning
- Manage grading and the gradebook
- Plan, teach, and evaluate lessons and student activities
- Evaluate and reflect on student progress
- Conduct parent conferences and report card evaluations as required
- Attend staff meetings, training, and in-service days
- Counsel students and monitor student behavior and discipline as necessary
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized classroom
- Cover supervision duties as assigned
- Fulfill other job-related tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
- A state teaching credential strongly recommended
