Sigma Marketing LLC is hiring a Junior SEO Specialist focused on driving off-page growth through strategic expired domain acquisition. In this role, you will work independently with team support to identify, evaluate, and acquire high-potential domains for fast-growing projects in the iGaming and gambling verticals.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify expired domains with strong backlink profiles, topical relevance, and traffic potential.
- Evaluate domain quality using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Wayback Machine, and Whois.
- Collaborate with outreach and content teams on domain acquisition strategy.
- Set up redirects or build microsites depending on use-case (PBNs, 301s, new brands, etc.).
- Track domain performance and support link-building initiatives using acquired assets.
- Stay up to date with trends in domain auctions, drops, and broker platforms.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ months experience specifically in buying expired domains.
- 1+ year of general SEO experience (on-page, off-page, and technical).
- Minimum 6 months experience in iGaming, crypto, or gambling SEO projects.
- Familiar with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Wayback Machine, etc.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time, and meet acquisition goals.
- Strong research and analysis skills.
- Comfortable working remotely using tools like Slack, Notion, and Google Drive.
- Time tracking via Time Doctor is required.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with PBN strategies and domain recycling.
- Basic knowledge of redirects (301), hosting setup, and CMS installation.
- Comfortable writing simple briefs for content or microsite setup.
- Experience evaluating domain penalties or deindexing issues.
