Backroom Offshoring Inc. is hiring a Junior React Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. In this role, you will provide technical support for our AI agentic platform that transforms briefs into full-stack applications. You'll work in an AI-first environment, directly assisting users and collaborating with our engineering and product teams.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported issues related to the AI agentic development platform.
- Provide technical support to users building full-stack apps with a React frontend and Python/FastAPI backend.
- Reproduce bugs, analyze stack traces, and identify possible root causes.
- Research and understand technical problems encountered by non-technical users.
- Communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay feedback and improve the user experience.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience with React.js in a modern JavaScript or TypeScript development environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills; English level B2 or higher.
- Ability to work night shifts and occasional holidays on a rotational basis.
- Willingness to visit our Cebu or Manila office in very rare emergency situations.
- Comfortable using tools like Git, terminal, and browser dev tools.
