Atto Trading Technologies is hiring a Junior Quant Researcher (Data Scientist) to join our profitable trading team and drive growth. This role blends trading with software development, involving data analysis, predictive modeling, and strategy development to tackle complex industry challenges within our global, collaborative, and high-integrity environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and test new data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Develop data visualization tools
- Maintain existing analytical instruments such as toolkits and pipelines
- Participate in research projects
- Build models, strategies, and systems for trading various financial instruments globally
What We're Looking For
- A high level of proficiency in Python programming, including data structures, design patterns, OOP, and PEP standards
- Experience with analytical packages: NumPy, Polars, Matplotlib, Bokeh, Scikit-Learn
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Upper-Intermediate+ proficiency in English
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, computer science, or another quantitative discipline
- Good communication and team skills with close attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with C++
- Understanding of basic machine learning techniques
- A genuine interest in finance and trading
- Experience in the development of quantitative trading strategies
