Brickfox GmbH is looking for a (Junior) PHP Symfony Developer to join our development team. You will focus on the further development and maintenance of our E-Commerce SaaS platform, implementing new features and optimizing processes in an agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Further develop and maintain our E-Commerce SaaS platform based on PHP and Symfony.
- Conceive and implement new features in close cooperation with product management.
- Optimize existing processes and interfaces, such as those to shop systems and marketplaces.
- Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews.
- Work in an agile team following Lean and Scrum principles.
What We're Looking For
- First knowledge of PHP (from version 7.x).
- First experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience in API development (REST, JSON).
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern development processes (CI/CD, Testing).
- Willingness to use AI technologies in daily development processes.
- Independent, structured way of working and strong team skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Symfony framework.
- Knowledge in Docker or cloud services.
- Experience with shop systems such as Shopify, Shopware, or WooCommerce.
- Interest in performance optimization and scaling of web applications.
- Experience with E-Commerce projects or SaaS products.
