About the Role
A Junior Finisher supports the final stages of digital asset production by ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to client guidelines under the guidance of senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of all assets and final typography before the final build process.
- Follow finishing file priorities as directed by the Director of Finishing and Senior Finishers, in coordination with Account Management.
- Learn and apply client-specific production guidelines for building and delivering files.
- Deliver realistic time estimates for task completion to the Director of Finishing.
- Carry out masking and revisions under the guidance of Senior Finishers.
- Support the completion of platform-specific finishing tasks.
- Maintain consistent daily communication with a designated mentor.
- Improve foundational finishing techniques such as masking, painting, and image compositing with the aim of mastery.
- Gain a basic understanding of how departments like art direction, account management, and production art function.
- Learn the organizational standards for file structure and layer naming conventions.
- Save files in correct directories using established naming protocols.
Requirements
- Must be located in or able to work full-time during EU business hours (CET/WET), Monday through Friday.
- Fluent in spoken and written English to support real-time collaboration, feedback, and training.
- Has a foundational grasp of light, shadow, and maintaining visual realism.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and dedication to the company, clients, and team.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail in all tasks.
- Shows willingness to learn from peers and senior team members.
- Possesses basic proficiency in Photoshop.
- Capable of collaborating across time zones in a fast-paced production environment.
