Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors seeks a Junior Captives Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this remote role based in India, you will gain valuable exposure to specialized insurance accounting within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements under local GAAP for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Assist with reconciling and posting insurance transactions.
- Help track and record claim activity.
- Support investment portfolio tracking and related reporting.
- Assist in preparing documentation for annual audits and regulatory filings.
- Maintain client communication when needed to support accounting processes.
- Prepare materials for board meetings and other internal reporting needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 0–2 years of experience in captive insurance or insurance accounting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
