Platform Science is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to join its Video team. You will maintain and enhance the existing video product, a critical component of the platform that contributes directly to road safety for customers. Your work will focus on the product's stability, performance, and evolution.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance the existing video product, a critical component of the platform.
- Contribute to the stability, performance, and evolution of this core offering.
- Drive innovation and increase operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Effective communication in English (verbal and written).
- API software development experience with Kotlin, Java, and Node.js or similar.
- UI software development experience with React, Angular or similar.
Nice to Have
- Basic test automation (Unit and Integration).
- Relational database experience (Postgres, MySQL, etc).
- Cloud software development experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Serverless computing experience (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
- Some mobile software development experience (Android).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
