CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated analytical models and solutions that drive strategic decisions for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems.
- Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle from problem definition and data exploration to model validation and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and data science projects.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts on methodologies and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Data Scientist role, with a proven track record of delivering models to production.
- Expert proficiency in Python for data science (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and experimental design.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to frame open-ended challenges as analytical problems.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts and influencing decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for data science workloads.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Databricks.
- Background in a specific industry vertical relevant to CI&T's client portfolio.
