Cision's Brandwatch is seeking a Java Engineer II to join the Integrations & Marketplace team, a cross-functional and autonomous group focused on delivering new integrations across the social media management suite. You will contribute to high-quality code development, enhance existing solutions, and implement new features for customers while collaborating in an agile, remote-friendly environment.
What You'll Do
- Write clear, concise Angular following best practices
- Improve and maintain the Integration Marketplace team's frontend stack
- Maintain high-quality coding standards in collaboration with others on the team
- Deliver well-tested, scalable solutions
- Serve as a sparring partner to team members
- Share and debate best practices proactively with peers
- Be self motivated and be comfortable working with remote colleagues as the team is based in Denmark & Hungary
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Angular 17+
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and the web application ecosystem
- Good understanding of FE state management (e.g., Redux)
- Understanding of component-based architecture
- Experience working with Node.js
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with and preference for agile environments
- Desire to master software engineering
- Keep up to date with web development technology trends
- Knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end frameworks (e.g., Jest, Testcafe)
- Experience with monitoring/debugging tools (e.g., logging, error tracking)
- Fluent in English
