Responsibilities
- Review transcribed Japanese audio content for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and word usage
- Ensure transcriptions follow provided style and formatting guidelines
- Flag audio segments that are unclear or difficult to transcribe
- Maintain consistent quality across assigned transcription tasks
- Provide feedback on transcription quality to support continuous improvement
- Verify timestamps and speaker labels when applicable
- Assess audio quality and report technical issues
- Follow established QA protocols for each review cycle
- Meet daily or weekly quality review targets
- Collaborate with team leads to clarify ambiguous content
- Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality standards
- Track and report QA metrics as required
- Stay updated on language-specific transcription rules
- Support training initiatives by identifying common error patterns
- Escalate recurring quality issues to supervisors
- Participate in calibration sessions to align on quality standards
- Review multilingual content where Japanese is the primary language
- Evaluate speaker differentiation in multi-voice recordings
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive or context-specific terminology
- Contribute to the refinement of QA checklists and rubrics
- Maintain organized records of reviewed files
- Work efficiently within provided digital transcription platforms
- Respond to quality audits or re-review requests
- Support onboarding by providing sample corrections
