About the Role
The specialist will deliver hands-on technical support, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and assist users with IT-related challenges across desktop, network, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support to employees experiencing system or software difficulties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
- Support network connectivity including Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote access tools
- Manage user accounts and permissions across various platforms
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding IT requirements for new and departing staff
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Respond to service desk tickets with timely resolution
- Escalate complex technical problems to higher-tier support teams
- Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge base
- Support video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Perform routine system updates and security patches
- Assist with deployment of new hardware across offices
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies
- Troubleshoot email and calendar synchronization issues
- Configure and support multi-factor authentication systems
- Assist with backup and recovery procedures
- Support cloud-based services including file storage and productivity suites
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies
- Work with third-party vendors for hardware repairs and service fulfillment
