World Kinect is hiring an IT Software Developer II to focus on Developer Productivity. In this role, you will build scalable, secure, and user-friendly internal tools to enhance developer efficiency and experience within our Agile development team.

What You'll Do

Design and build internal tools that enhance developer efficiency and experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure solutions.
Support junior engineers through mentorship and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance.
Optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, scalable environments.
Create and maintain developer documentation and onboarding materials.
Gather and analyze developer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Champion best practices and contribute to a culture of innovation.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in cloud-centric software engineering.
Proficiency in Java, Angular, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Familiarity with developer productivity tools and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of containerization and security best practices.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows.
